My First Blog

© Nilda Heyek - Tree, Life, My First Blog

First of all, Thank you for visiting my blog!

As I write these words at around 1 am on a Wednesday night, many thoughts are going through my head. “What do I say? Where do I begin? Who will read this…?”

I guess it really doesn’t matter.

I am a very different person than I have been in the past.  In many areas of life, I feel blessed – yet I feel lost – searching for my true voice.

Perhaps this blog is the only thing I can actually control at this moment, making it mine, as life guides me for an expression of the “divine discontent” I currently feel.

My intent is to share dialogue in all areas of life. Growth, Wellness, Healing, Motherhood, Womanhood, all things about Life… Throwing Yoga into the mix because that’s a huge part of my heart, even though it is not currently an active part of my experience.  I will get there again… All in Good Time!

Thank you for reading.

Perhaps I better get some rest now, even as a “stay-at-home mom” of a fully animated toddler, I get no extra sleep regardless of what time I choose to hit the hay unless, of course, my baby allows it.

❥ Namaste

  1. My friend, I’m so proud of you, I’ve always been and always will!! I now you can do this…mother, wife, yoga instructor and best of all an amazing friend! I always knew you were a go getter and that nothing could stop you (maybe slow you down for a little bit, but not for long). I love you my friend! Proud of all of your accomplishments!

  2. Great job! I have thought about doing a blog for many years. . Just thought it would be hard… And who would read it anyways! So again great job!

    1. Thank you SO much Jodi! Two thoughts for you: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. – Lao Tzu” and “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. – Zig Ziglar”
